Chapter 700: The Long-Awaited Hatching

Then she pointed toward the kitchen. "You have already met my other husbands. Hu Yan and Han Jue are in the kitchen right now. And this is your brother-in-law Rong Ye, and this is your brother-in-law Shi Feng."She smoothed down Xiao San’s messy hair and added, "There is also your brother-in-law Xuan Long, who is the father of Xiao San and our little egg."

Su Qinglan smiled and nudged her. "If you want to pursue anyone, just tell your eldest sister. I will definitely help you."

Lan Yue’s ears immediately perked up. "How are you going to help me, sister?" she asked with an incredible, eager expression.

Su Qinglan only winked at her playfully.

"Before you go back home today, come meet me inside my room for a minute, okay? I will tell you a secret."

Lan Yue nodded her head furiously. Hearing this, the three young triplets also chimed in eagerly, "We also want to hear, Elder Sister!"

But Su Qinglan only laughed and shook her head. "This is sister talk. You boys are not allowed to listen."

The young men slumped back, looking thoroughly embarrassed.

In truth, they really wanted to know the secret because they would soon come of age and wanted to find their own females too.

In the Beast World, if a beastman could find a female early, it proved he was truly worthy and capable, which would massively increase his reputation.

As they chatted, the breakfast table was finally fully set. Giant bowls of steaming food were brought out, and everyone immediately crowded around the table to start eating.

The three triplet brothers took their first bites and were completely stunned.

The house was filled with the warm sounds of loud chattering and chewing as everyone discussed the latest news and laughed together.

Su Qinglan was happily chatting along, asking her three new younger brothers about their lives, where they were currently staying, and how distant the Hawk Tribe’s main territory was from the city.

As they were right in the middle of talking, a sudden, sharp ’tuck’ sound echoed through the room.

The entire hall fell dead silent in an instant. Su Qinglan practically dropped her chopsticks on the table. She froze, her eyes immediately snapping over to meet Hu Yan’s gaze.

"Did... did you hear that?" she muttered, her breath catching in her throat.

Everyone’s eyes slowly turned and landed directly on the small incubator, which had been kept safely on a side table in the same line as the cubs’ eating row.

The people were completely stunned. Did they really just hear a cracking noise coming from inside it?

Before anyone could even question if they were imagining things, a second ’tuck’ sound rang out once again, louder this time.

And this time, everyone clearly saw the smooth, white egg vibrating noticeably inside the glass case.

Su Qinglan’s face instantly lit up with pure, overwhelming joy. "Is... is it going to hatch?!"

Hu Yan and Han Jue immediately dropped their bowls and crowded right beside the table.

"It absolutely seems so," Han Jue said, his voice laced with rare excitement. "She is finally going to hatch."

Su Qinglan completely forgot all about her breakfast. She scrambled out of her chair and rushed over to the incubator, her heart hammering against her ribs.

All of her beast husbands were just as excited, immediately swarming around the little incubator, their eyes glued to the white shell as they waited for the new baby to arrive.

Even the little cubs knew exactly what was happening.

They instantly licked their food bowls completely clean in two seconds flat before squeezing and wedging themselves right to the front of the crowd, their round eyes wide with immense wonder.
