Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix

Chapter 588 Regeneration

Chapter 588 Regeneration

"It would be helpful if you didn't try to increase my workload when I already have hundreds of warriors here to heal," Terra said while checking Rain's fists covered in frostbites.

"I can handle this much, you can go and help the others," Rain said and then he began to heal himself.

In the end, they had to kill around six thousand skeletons before they finally were able to surround the dungeons properly, but more of them were leaving the dungeon. They could control that, though.

Regardless, Rain went too far with his stress relief and his wounds in his body were scaring his kids. He quickly cleaned himself and then healed his wounds as well before patting Danny and Annie.

"Sorry about that, did you two behave?" Rain asked while smiling.

"I take it that you found something troublesome, before you ask, it is obvious thanks to your frown," Seara said.

"We can talk about that later, where is Sealyn?" Rain asked while looking around.

"I asked Seadir to take her home while we fight here... but it seems that we will have to stay here for a while, so I will bring her back soon," Seara explained.

Rain sighed in relief... his family was fine, so he felt all the exhaustion taking over his body once he relaxed. He didn't sleep that much in that week, even though he only had to sleep six hours a day to feel full of life since his path evolved.

"Are you two leaving all the work to me again?" Terra raised her eyebrows.

Your journey continues with empire

Terra had a point... she needed some time off too. In the end, Rain tried to give her some time off as well, but she felt restless and bored with nothing to do for a week, so she returned to her tasks after just three days. It seemed that Rain spread the disease known as workaholism among his family and friends.

In the next few days, Rain was able to enter the dungeon and then smash the skeletons with a steel hammer since he didn't want to freeze his fingers again.

While he was able to destroy those creatures in a single punch, doing that over fifty times would cover his hands in frostbites, even though he had the ice dragon guards.

In any case, Rain reached the end of the fifth floor and eventually found the entrance to the next level...

As Rain descended to the sixth floor of the ice dungeon, he immediately noticed a significant change in the environment. The corridor was notably larger than before, giving him more space to maneuver. However, as soon as his foot touched the floor, the eerie silence was shattered by the rise of an opponent.

Rising swiftly from the icy depths, an enormous ice golem came into view. It towered over Rain, its massive form exuding an aura of chilling power. Without hesitation, Rain readied his hammer and delivered a swift and powerful strike, cleaving the creature in two.

Much to his astonishment, the severed halves of the ice golem began to rapidly regenerate. The golem's ability to self-heal and reform made it a formidable adversary, one that Rain would need to employ more than brute force to defeat...
