Chapter 461 Everyone is Getting Stronger

Chapter 461 Everyone is Getting Stronger

The new Sith apprentice of Dathomir stepped into his territory within Serenon of Dooku Manor.

In the manor, Sora Burke drew out his lightsaber, and the blazing sword light illuminated the entire space, pointing directly in the direction of Savage Opress. After performing many tasks, the apprentice was recalled by Dooku, and began rigorous training in the Force and lightsaber with Savage under the supervision of Sora Burke.

This training has been going on for several days, and Savage's progress is remarkable. His talent, upbringing, and the blessing of Talzin's magic have made his progress faster than expected. Therefore, Dooku decided to upgrade the training system to adapt to his rapid growth.

At this moment, the Nightbrother was wielding his newly made double-bladed lightsaber, one end of which was already open. He faced his master, and the two of them hovered in the air, while the others watched quietly on the sidelines.

In other corners of Dooku Manor, other acolytes were carrying out their respective tasks or training. Today, it was more like a private special training. The practice of the Force had reached a bottleneck for Savage, and he needed to learn how to control his inner anger.

He was like a beast on a leash, and Dooku didn't want him to lose control when he was about to take on a solo mission.

However, in terms of weapons training, Savage far exceeded Dooku and Bulke's expectations. Dooku carefully observed Savage's fighting stance and recognized it as a variation of the Xi-Jo style, with a hint of Xien's power.

While he's still learning the basics and techniques, a strength-based form like Sheen's style seems more suited to someone like Savage.

Savage Opress has become adept at lightsaber combat, with the dual-bladed variant being particularly suited to his larger frame. Despite the occasional challenges and stumbling blocks, his attacks always flow like a fluid, rapid stream of blows.

When Savage charged at Dooku for the first time, the latter easily dodged his blows. This scene fully demonstrated the potential and progress of Dathomir's new Sith apprentice. In the fierce contest, Dooku responded to each attack with lightning-fast retaliatory movements. Savage Opress tried to deliver an overhead strike, but the Count's quick reflexes allowed him to easily deflect the direction and respond with a sideways step, with the great physical strength behind him to support each swing.

The Sith Lord spun his sharp blade slightly and swung it forward, causing Opress to hastily deflect his attack. He roared, as if talking to himself, swinging the blade rapidly left and right, while Dooku skillfully guided each attack with a nonchalant attitude, making it impossible for the opponent to get close.

"Control yourself, my apprentice," the Count snapped, stepping back gracefully from another missed attack before unleashing a bolt of the Force as fast as lightning, surprising Opress.

Dooku continued, "Your power is raw but unfocused, like a storm without a center. Calm your rage and learn to direct yourself. Do not let your anger rule you."

Savage roared like a wild animal, shook his head and regained his composure. He ignited the other part of the lightsaber, and Tyrannus looked a little stunned and began to laugh with satisfaction.

Savage launched a barrage of swift attacks, which Dooku parried one by one, even nearly singeing his beard at one point.

In a split second, Dooku disarmed his opponent with lightning speed, using the Force to hold the blades in his hands, crossing the two lightsabers in an X-shape and pointing them at Savage's neck.

Seeing this, the Dark Night brothers obviously retreated and raised their hands in a gesture of surrender.

"You have natural abilities," the Count said calmly, then shut down his lightsaber. "Are you ready to accept the challenge and better control your anger?"

He knew the Dark Lord was referring to the upcoming field mission. Savage replied respectfully, "Yes, my lord."

Dooku then held out his lightsaber to the big apprentice, and Opress carefully took it and knelt before him. "What do you want, my master?" he asked reverently.

"I want you to travel to Toydaria and bring back King Katunko alive," Dooku said firmly, "and kill anyone who might interfere. Master Bulke will oversee this operation once again."

"Of course, my Lord. I will do it," Savage responded firmly.

……

"Are you sure it's okay to do this?" someone asked doubtfully.

Asajj Ventress had resolved to perform the ritual and to see it through. She would always be a member of the Nightsisters, even if she was away from the Horde for a long time. This was their common cause, and everyone had a part to play.

"I understand, but I have to ask, why do I have to go with her?" Wanda Maximoff asked with obvious dissatisfaction.

“Didn’t you promise that you would do your best to reconcile with Ventres?” Madam Talzin asked back, her tone revealing an unquestionable firmness.

She answered with gritted teeth, "Yes." But she secretly thought in her heart that this had no direct relevance to her.

"Don't worry, Merlin and Elena will be in my care," Madam Talzin comforted.

Wanda glared at the old witch, dissatisfaction revealed in her eyes. "They will take care of themselves. When I leave, you have to take care of the alliance."

“Of course I will,” Madam Talzin promised solemnly. She was a woman of her word.

Maximov rolled his eyes and chose to leave.

Arriving at her cabin, Wanda began to pack what she could take with her. When she walked into the small living room, she found Ventres standing there with two all-system dragons activated.

"Hey!" she yelled, startling Ventres from the darkness. "Don't you know what privacy is? This is my home, you baldhead!"

Asajj glanced at Wanda coldly, "The door is open."

Wanda, on the other hand, didn't take it seriously. She pushed Ventres away and broke free from the active holographic dragon.

"You don't need to be rude to her, Maximov." Sakuran's voice sounded, "We have a pleasant conversation... without your participation."

Wanda didn't even bother to look at Sōzō before sending her back to her full dragon. "I can only handle these trivial matters of yours one at a time," she retorted coldly.

Everything was done just before Sakuran's holographic dragon was about to seal her away.

"There's really no need for this," Traya said dryly.

"Yes, it is," Wanda responded, with a hint of sarcasm in her tone.

Asajj's heart was once again filled with uneasiness, even though she remained as calm as a stone. The moment Maximov easily sealed Zuo Zang, she keenly sensed a potential crisis.

Wanda seemed nonchalant when talking to Traya, and her words revealed a kind of confidence: I think the three of us should go together to witness it.

Traya responded in a more cautious tone. "Of course, we are eager to witness this Nightsister ritual. Hearing about it is one thing, and witnessing it is another. And once Ventres has fulfilled her mission, the three of us will work together to tap into her latent power."

Wanda reminded: "Don't forget, the next ceremony must be completed under the witness of the tribal leader."

"Yes, I remember."

"We're talking about Asajj Ventres," Ventres couldn't help but remind.

"You are still an intruder and I should kick you out on principle."

"Don't make me bring Elena in."

Wanda warned, "Don't seek shelter behind your cousin."

At this moment, a deep voice suddenly sounded in the hut. It was Traya's voice: Enough! Illyana and Merlin are still children, and you two are adults. You should handle this matter with a mature attitude.

Wanda took a deep breath and crossed her arms over her chest, looking away from the two of them, "She was the one who started the fight."

Asajj sneered and asked back, "Are you a five-year-old child?"

"Are you four?"

"Are you two done yet?" Traya asked in a tone that left no room for doubt. "Given the current situation with Gthzerain, the clan of Ventres needs all the help it can get. There is much more at stake here than your little dispute."

Traya asked Wanda: "You call yourself a superhero, don't you? That means you have the courage to take on things that others are unwilling to do."

Maximov said coldly: "You don't have to emphasize the importance of this matter. Everyone knows it."

Wanda is extremely disgusted by being forced to talk to the enemy in this situation. However, she chooses to help those who she once hated. This is not a simple moral choice, but a profound wisdom.

Looking at a smiling Ventrez, Wanda instantly recalled the woman's mother and how she looked just like her, only she became angrier.

If Ilsigi were still alive, she would want to provide for her daughter.

At this moment, Wanda slowly spoke: "This is your life journey. I am willing to go with you, but every step you take..."

"Are you spying on me?" Asajj interrupted her sarcastically.

Wanda's eyes instantly turned red. "Don't try to challenge my bottom line." Her voice revealed unquestionable majesty.

Ventres stared into the scarlet pupils, sighed, and then turned away, terrified by Wanda's strength. Although she was reluctant to admit it, Maximoff's strength was indeed beyond hers.

Asajj pulled back, her eyes filled with hatred as she stared at Wanda. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop doing this?" she whispered viciously.

"What are you going to do?" Wanda asked her in a mocking tone. "If you continue like this, you already know the result. Do you still want to continue to be an executioner who enjoys killing people? If you can stop hunting me and my team for five minutes, maybe I will consider not snooping into your mind anymore."

"Can we go now?" Ventres asked impatiently, though her tone sounded more like a request.

A triumphant smile appeared on Wanda's face, as if hinting at her victory and future possibilities. Under Traya's cold expression, her inner emotions became stronger.

Darth Traya narrowed her eyes slightly, as if looking for something, and then she curled up in her holographic dragon. Then, Wanda quickly suspended the holographic dragon on her palm, and Zuo Zang's holographic dragon was also controlled in the same way.

"Your journey is led by you." Wanda said in a firm tone, as if challenging the other party.

Ventres was disgusted by the woman's attitude. She could sense the wisdom hidden in her mind, but at this moment she wanted to make sure her goal was clear.

She only needed to have a brief negotiation with the Avengers. This was what she was looking forward to - perhaps in this journey of self-exploration, no matter what challenges she encountered, she could draw strength from them, at least enough to completely repel those troubles.

"Things are not that simple." Maximov's voice was flat and cold. Her eyes inadvertently slid across her nails, as if she was thinking about something more complicated.
