Chapter 494: Battle of GodsAhsoka in Danger
In the sky, a magnificent battle is taking place.
This is not a simple power struggle, but an eternal contest.
The power of the universe and the might of thunder are intertwined together, as if telling the grandeur of the world.
The Son, meaning the god born from the foundation of the universe, engages in a thrilling duel with Asgard's prince, Thor Odinson.
The two strong men stood in the air, surrounded by dark clouds and thunder and lightning. Thor held Mjolnir in his hand and spun his iconic weapon with the force of thunder, like a bat from hell, breaking through the air and heading straight for the Son of God. The Son of God happened to transform into a bat monster in the dark night and confronted him.
In this ever-changing battle, the Son of God suddenly shrank his body and endured Thor's full-strength attack of Mjolnir. The huge force seemed to tear the celestial body apart, but the Son of God stabilized his body with amazing perseverance.
Thor did not stop, he quickly adjusted the direction of Thor's hammer, thunder and lightning roared and exploded around him. He rushed forward like a gust of wind, leaving behind rumbling thunder. However, in the high-speed collision, Thor's hammer collided with the Son's body, and he groaned in pain. The Son turned back into human form, but the anger in his eyes was even hotter.
Despite the damage, the Son glared at Thor and slapped him on the forehead. The Force surged, knocking Thor back. But Thor quickly regained his balance in the air, spinning his hammer in the air, and the Son transformed into bat form again.
The two briefly paused in midair, and then sent out crackling energy and lightning again, flying towards each other. Each of their collisions sent out a strong shock wave, accompanied by a thunderclap, dispersing the surrounding clouds. This battle seemed to have become a unique landscape in the sky of Mortis, accompanied by constant conflicts and shock waves.
The Son was fierce in his onslaught, summoning the power of the heavens to counter Thor's furious lightning. His claws flashed with electricity, and the air around him seemed to be pulled by his power. He nimbly turned to the incoming Mjolnir and grasped Thor's shoulders tightly. The Asgardian prince grunted in pain and tried to break free from the Son's grasp. However, the Son's grip was extremely strong, and he guided the lightning of the dark side into Thor's body.
Although Thor was badly wounded, he did not give up. He blinked and then laughed mockingly. He took a step back, raised Thor's hammer high, and threw it at the Son with all his strength. When the hammer hit the Son, there was a dull "bang" sound, as if the whole world was shaking.
The battle continued, and every collision shook the entire Mortis. The spectacular battle scene made people dazzled and amazed. This was just one of the countless battles in the universe, but it would become an eternal legendary chapter.
In the chaotic battlefield, the Son of God was suddenly hit by Thor's hammer and fell to the ground like a kite with a broken string.
Thor's hand, however, seemed to be assisted by God and quickly reached out to the void. A few seconds later, Thor's hammer returned to his grasp as if it was eager to return home. He flew back to the Son of God, who had transformed into a human form, as fast as a bird, surrounded by a deep shadow.
"You're nervous like a child, idiot," Thor taunted.
The Son of God roared, sparks of electricity burst out from his body, and his eyes flashed with angry sparks. "You broke into my territory and disrupted my plans..."
"Family disputes are nothing special." Thor interrupted him in a nonchalant tone, alluding to his own family disputes. "We have all had disputes among ourselves, whether it's siblings or with our parents."
The Son of God was silent for a moment, and looked at the Thunder God who claimed to be from Asgard with a scrutinizing gaze. "How dare you know of our existence? We have been hiding from the world for thousands of years."
"My father is Odin, King of Asgard," Thor proudly declared. "He possesses centuries of lost knowledge. That includes knowledge of you."
If the Son of God had not been irritated by this sudden interruption, he might have been impressed by these words. "If you hadn't messed things up, I would have succeeded."
"If you really have any doubts, let's have a showdown." Thor challenged.
Hearing this, the Son of God was enraged and roared as he fought Thor again. The two were blurred in the thunderous clouds, and every collision was accompanied by a rumbling shock wave. The crowd watching could only stare with wide eyes and horror at this amazing display of power.
The battle became more intense, and the figures of Thor and the Son of God appeared and disappeared in the sky. Sometimes their figures crossed each other, and sometimes they collided violently and then quickly retreated. Thunder and lightning intertwined in the sky, forming multiple vortex clouds.
The battle seemed like a dazzling spectacle, and those watching did not know how to react for a moment, except for two people.
"Ahsoka." Spider-Man called softly, holding the cold body of his late friend in his arms, his eyes filled with grief and determination. In this battle, he not only witnessed the contest of strength, but also the emotional entanglement and sacrifice.
Next to Spider-Man, Anakin waited quietly. The two looked down at her pale and weak body with bulging veins, their hearts filled with astonishment and disbelief.
She, the vibrant, outspoken, yet kind and selfless Ahsoka... was gone.
Anakin clenched his fists, his whole body shaking.
"No, impossible." He whispered, "No, please." Tears rolled in his eyes and finally fell. He reached out and held her cold hand, only to feel a piercing chill.
"Please, please," he whispered desperately, "don't let us suffer like this anymore."
He felt someone standing behind him, and when he turned around, he saw it was the Father, who had withdrawn from the fierce battle between the Son and the Thunder God and stood quietly beside him.
Behind him stood his daughter, Black Panther, Vision and Obi-Wan. They all witnessed this scene, and the battle between the two gods seemed to be paused.
"You have to save her." Anakin almost begged.
However, the Holy Father simply dropped his shoulders, shook his head and sighed, looking away.
Spider-Man also watched all this and whispered, "You can't just give up like this! She can still be saved, she can make it!"
Anakin's eyes were filled with questions, "Is there really nothing you can do?" He asked softly, his eyes never leaving the motionless Padawan.
The Father closed his eyes, bowed his head and said, "This is my Son's doing. I...can't do anything."
Anakin's heart sank to the bottom. "Is there really nothing you can do?" he asked again, his voice full of despair.
Around them, the Avengers and Jedi Knights looked even more anxious and uneasy in the face of the Holy Father's silence. Ahsoka seemed to have really left them, leaving behind only endless sorrow and helplessness.
