Chapter 507 The End of Mortis' Journey
Chapter 507 The End of Mortis' Journey
A moment later, everyone on Mortis felt the huge energy fluctuation. It was not just the vibration of the planet, but a ripple of the original force, as if the fire of his father's life was quietly extinguished.
The daughter fell to her knees, her tears falling like pearls from a broken string, her heart shattered into pieces. The Son stood there, his arms hanging down, as if he had lost all his strength. He tried to comprehend what had just happened, but his heart was overwhelmed with endless sorrow.
Suddenly, the entire Mortis began to tremble and collapse, as if announcing its end to the world.
With the Father gone, Alisem's punishment no longer needed to be carried out, and the entire planet seemed to collapse in sorrow.
Everyone tried to restore balance, to find a glimmer of comfort and hope. However, on this dying planet, everything seemed so powerless. If they didn't find a way to escape, they would all face the threat of death.
"No!" the daughter shouted loudly, her voice full of determination and courage. As she shouted, a bright light burst out from her body, a combination of the light side and celestial energy. The light was so strong that everyone couldn't help but cover their eyes.
After a few seconds, the light faded and the ground stopped shaking.
Slowly, everyone slowly opened their eyes and was surprised to find that the planet had undergone earth-shaking changes. It was no longer in eternal darkness, but was surrounded by an ethereal, beautiful and warm light. Life began to sprout on this new land, and the air was filled with a pleasant scent.
"This..." Ahsoka whispered, feeling an inexplicable sense of relief and joy welling up in her heart.
"I don't want this place to fall apart." The daughter spoke, her voice revealing a new strength and hope. Although tears still hung on her face, her eyes had become firm and bright. The golden light emanated from her body again, as if she had found a new direction and goal.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm the sadness in her heart, "I can't let this place die. This is my home. This is where we live. Until... until..." She muttered to herself, but couldn't continue.
She fell to her knees, wailing in pain.
At this moment, the Son of God gently squatted down and put his hand on her shoulder. This scene seemed a little strange and unusual, because a few minutes ago, the two were still tit-for-tat and fighting, but at this moment, they had forgotten the past fights and conflicts. They were just two people who had lost their father and supported each other in this sad moment.
The people around could only watch in silence as the son and daughter mourned their lost father together, their hearts filled with grief and admiration, but also with a new sense of strength and hope.
"The obstacle has disappeared." The Son of God whispered, sounding relieved and extremely lost. "This place can no longer accommodate our past and future." He looked at his sister, his eyes revealing a longing for the past and regret for his previous actions, but in an instant his expression became firm and resolute.
"Sister, please, come with me." The Son pleaded, "We can seek justice for our father and mother, and bring true justice, not the ancient way of Alisemus."
However, the daughter just shook her head. "No, dear brother. Our father has sacrificed his life for us. I will not embark on a journey blindly for revenge again. That will only lead us to destruction again and disappoint our father's expectations."
These words seemed to touch the Son's heart, and his eyes were filled with sadness and pleading. He looked at her, his eyes full of confusion and expectation.
But the daughter shook her head again.
"...Very good." He whispered to himself.
Suddenly, where the Son of God was standing, all matter seemed to be swallowed up by darkness. Everyone watched him disappear from sight, and the darkness was like a huge hand, completely swallowing up the Son of God.
"Where did he go?" Spider-Man looked around and asked anxiously.
The daughter was silent for a moment, then slowly spoke: "He stayed away from Mortis."
When these words were spoken, the Avengers and the Jedi Knights were filled with deep fear.
"With Alisem's barrier dissipated, there is nothing to trap him anymore. He should be flying freely in the galaxy now."
"Where will he go?" they demanded.
"I'm not sure." The daughter looked up at the sky and sighed.
Then she walked towards Ahsoka, looking down at her with a kind smile, and without saying a word, she quietly placed the Mortis dagger in her hands.
The Avengers and Jedi were surprised at how she came into possession of the dagger, but she said nothing more as she handed it to the Padawan.
"I believe this dagger will be more valuable to those who can use it, rather than letting it continue to sit here and waste." The daughter said calmly.
"So what do we do?" Obi-Wan asked.
"When the time comes, you will know." She said softly, reaching out to touch Ahsoka's cheek gently, like a mother touching her child. "I have faith in all of you. But now, it is time for all of you to leave this place."
Suddenly, she summoned a flickering light that was so blinding that it seemed to engulf everything around it.
"May you find the true light on your respective paths," she whispered, and then, swallowed by the light, they disappeared from the spot.
