Finally, it was really tough to finish "Guo Qing".
I would like to express my deepest respect to Wataru Watari, the author of this classic masterpiece.

Congratulations on the completion of Guo Cuo (my personal abbreviation).
This collection of short stories after the main story is finished is really good. I also wrote two short stories to celebrate its completion. There seem to be four volumes in total; they'll probably be included in different collections, right? I hope you all enjoy reading it.
That said, the protagonist of this work, Hachiman, loves ramen, and I share his passion for set meals.
Opening a personal restaurant is also a good idea, but due to the location, I often eat at Yayoi-ken. The burgers that are common in trendy cafes around Koenji, where bread, lettuce, pickles, and other fillings are placed on a large plate and people assemble them themselves, are not the perfect classic dining option for me, a difficult middle-aged man who would yell "Just bring me the finished product!" when it comes to this.
At Yayoi-ken, I recommend the eggplant miso and the grilled fish set meal. It's the only option.
The eggplant miso soup was delicious enough, and it even came with grilled fish and chilled tofu, plus free pickles—you couldn't get enough rice! The best part was that the rice at Yayoi-ken was free. I hope everyone eats at least three bowls, including mine (even women, as I tend to get sleepy after eating too much). Don't worry, the side dishes are plentiful.
For me, who orders eggplant miso nine times out of ten when I go to Yayoi-ken, Yayoi-ken is essentially a "set meal restaurant for eggplant miso and grilled fish".

Postscript (Tianjin)
Hello everyone, I'm Xiang from Tianjin. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to participate in "Guo Qing's Short Story Collection." Thank you all for reading.
When I received the invitation, the first thing that came to my mind was this story about Hiratsuka-sensei and Hachiman.
I adore Hiratsuka-sensei, to the point of near madness. That's why I became happier and happier as I wrote, and by the end I was even talking to myself, "I'm not Amatsu Mukou. I'm Hikigaya Hachiman. And Hachiman's true happy ending is being with Hiratsuka-sensei."
Oh dear—he's a completely suspicious person.
So how should I put it? The Hiratsuka-sensei I created is full of my personal wish that she be like this, and there may be parts of her that are different from the Hiratsuka-sensei in the main story.
I'm sorry. Please forgive me. But that was my wish, please forgive me.
I also wrote the "Yukino Yukinoshita Arc" and the "Saki Kawasaki Arc". I enjoyed writing these two arcs as well, so please be sure to take a look.
I owe this opportunity entirely to the editors of GAGAGA Bunko, and more importantly, to Wataru Watari-sensei. I am truly grateful.

Postscript (by Fumiaki Maruto)
Hello everyone, I'm Fumiaki Maruto.
I collaborated with Wataru Watari on a collection of short stories included as a bonus on the Blu-ray of an anime, and I'm honored to have this opportunity this time... Well, when I first received the invitation, I cried and told him, "No, no, no, all your fans are terrified—they're all people with literary knowledge, so an entertainment novelist like me would be afraid!" But I couldn't refuse, which led me to tarnish the last seat.
However, after much complaining, I finally gained the right to choose the main characters, and ended up writing this short story that I don't know who will be happy to read.
This is also because I am a somewhat unruly reader (as a male), and from the very first volume of this work, the character I have been most interested in is the protagonist of this novel, Hayato Hayama.
So I was really excited watching that part in episode four and episode six... After that, I don't know if it was because his position was too close to the core, but the author seemed to have a lot of concerns. He started to talk in circles and full of mystery, which led me into a vicious cycle of delusions and unbearable pain... But that doesn't matter, because I submitted my manuscript a year earlier than the author (forbidden sentence).
Thanks to him, I had to add the line "The draw in Chengdu is over now" during proofreading. How are you going to make it up to me...?

Thank you (crossing)
Thank you to Shiro Shiratori, Yasushi Date, Romeo Tanaka, Mukoto Amaterasu, and Fumiaki Maruto. Receiving your works has stirred a mix of emotions within me.
In short, it's about feeling very fortunate.
Ukami-sensei, Shirabi-sensei, Akane-sensei, Tobu-sensei.
Every time I see your pictures, my heart races, enveloped in a bittersweet happiness. This transcends romance. My gratitude and affection are beyond words, beyond even the power of love. Thank you so much.
Ponkan⑧ God. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Please guide me, God.
Editor Hoshino-sama. Thank you! Don't worry, I'll definitely be able to handle it easily next time! Hehehe!
The editorial team at GAGAGA, and the various publishers who also provided much assistance, are very grateful to everyone for inviting contributions from writers and illustrators to help compile this book.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude.
And to all the readers. Just like this short story collection project, Guoqing's world continues to expand, all thanks to everyone's support.
Thanks to you for picking up and reading this work, I'm still writing today. I'm truly grateful. Thank you. Because of you, Guoqing exists!
Let's meet again in "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU: Short Story Collection 3 - Yui Side"!

In mid-July, summer vacation is finally almost here.
Today is Sunday, no classes.
I, Yui Hihama, came to the park near Chiba Port Tower...
It's July after all, the sun is so strong.
Even though I applied sunscreen, I still feel like I'll get sunburned...
So, what am I doing in a place like this? I'm waiting for someone.
As for the person I'm waiting for...
It's Yumiko—Miura Yumiko and Kawasaki Saki (Hime calls her Saki Saki, but I'm still a little embarrassed to call her that...).
In short, I'm waiting for the two of them!
The appointed time is almost here...
Ah, I've got it! They're walking from the station.
"Hi-lo."
I waved my hands with all my might to let them know I was here.
"Hey—Yumiko, Kawasaki-san, over here! Hello, hello—"
Those two people should have seen me waving, but they didn't react at all!
Just walking silently on the road!
They seemed to have taken the same tram and walked towards me together, without exchanging a single word...
They maintained a wonderful distance that could hardly be described as "walking together," moving at roughly the same speed.
"Hey—excuse me, I even went out of my way to call you guys out on a Sunday!"
I greeted them again, trying to lighten the slightly awkward atmosphere, but...
"I said—why are you looking for me?"
Yumiko was still the same as always, in a bad mood. The first thing she said when she opened her mouth was a complaint.
"I want to ask that too. Why me? And with this guy..."
Kawasaki glared at Yumiko beside him...
Yumiko quickly glared back!
The air was immediately filled with the smell of gunpowder.
Hmm—are they really that bad off?
In short, what I want to ask them for help with is...
Teaching my dog a new skill!
Recently, the shortbread has run away on its own several times, and others are starting to wonder if it's a little stupid...
The shortbread is clearly very clever...
I'm not willing to let it continue to be misunderstood, so I'm going to teach it an amazing talent to prove it's a smart child! If all goes well, there's one more thing I'd like to ask those two for a favor…
"Because I can't teach Su Bing all by myself. Su Bing is the kind of child who can do it as long as she has the will. Please—"
I clasped my hands together and sincerely begged the two of them.
"Yes, that's fine, but—"
Yumiko seems to have some objections...
"What's wrong?"
"I just can't quite accept it... Besides, Yui, isn't your club supposed to help people solve their problems? Why don't you go to them for help?"
"Because... the shortbread caused trouble for the autistic guy, and Yukino... doesn't seem to like dogs."
The pastry once injured an autistic boy...
Later, it even went to bother Yukino and the autistic guy while they were shopping, making me think they were dating and creating a very awkward atmosphere...
It was only with great difficulty that we were able to restore our original relationship.
Even I would feel awkward discussing the pastry issue with them at this time.
If I were to ask them for a favor like this, I wonder how the autistic guy would react with disdain...
That person is incredibly good at being sarcastic!
"Then why me and her? Wouldn't it have been better to ask Ebina-kun? There's no need to ask me."
Kawasaki looked a little tired, having been directly exposed to the summer sun.
Indeed, I mostly chatted with Yumiko and Hina in the classroom. Kawasaki seemed to prefer being alone, so we didn't talk often.
"Hina said, 'No one is not busy during this period!' So it won't work. Besides, the Service Club helped you once, they helped you once!"
I emphasize this point by gazing up at Kawasaki-kun.
She blushed slightly for some reason and looked away.
"My brother and I both received your help back then..."
"Right—right—that's why I wanted to ask you for a favor this time."
"Oh, um—"
However, Kawasaki was still hesitant.
I took her hand and held it tightly, a little forcefully.
—Give it another push.
"And, and, Kawasaki-san is kind and caring! So is Yumiko."
"What? Me?"
"Why me too?!"
They seemed unaware of how good they were at taking care of people, and were completely dumbfounded.
"Yes. You are both the type to be good mothers in the future. I can rest assured that I can entrust the shortbread to you."
I stood tall and asserted.
Yumiko and Kawasaki looked at each other in bewilderment after hearing this...
He had an attitude of "How could this guy possibly be like this?"
However, saying this will immediately backfire on you, so you shouldn't say it lightly.
Let's put that aside for now. I need to take advantage of the fact that they've agreed (or probably agreed?) to quickly introduce the shortbread to them!
"Let me introduce you first. This is my adorable dog, Miniature Dachshund Crispy."
I opened the small dog carrying bag that was placed at my feet.
