Chapter 53 Class Reunion

The small grove in Konoha was Taiichi's training spot with his friends after school before he graduated.

Taiichi, who had just arrived at the grove, was surprised to find Might Guy training inside. He was punching a large tree repeatedly. Each punch caused the tree to shake violently, and leaves fell from its branches.

"Kai, if you keep hitting him, this tree will break. We'll have to replace it with a thicker one." Tai shouted to Might Guy from afar. It had only been a few months since they last saw each other, but Tai was incredibly excited to see Guy again.

"It's alright, it's alright, Obito's just practicing walking on water!" Asuma chimed in. "He's just not quite there yet!"

Everyone burst into laughter again. It turned out that Obito, seeing Kakashi and Asuma standing on the water and catching fish, couldn't resist trying it himself and decided to try treading water to catch fish as well.

The result was predictable, but Obito was not one to give up easily. He tried again and again, even though his clothes were already soaked with water.

Soon after, Kakashi, Asuma, and Guy all went to find Taichi with their harvest, while Obito stubbornly remained there, practicing treading water to catch fish.

"You guys didn't even help Obito." Nohara Rin said reproachfully as she saw the group return.

"Haha, youth shouldn't be given up so easily! Obito was awesome!" Guy flashed his perfectly white teeth. "Besides... look what this is!"

As he spoke, he took out several more fish from behind his back. It turned out that everyone had already prepared Obito's share of fish.

"Ha~ha~ha~" Everyone looked at each other and laughed, feeling the warm friendship between friends at this moment.

Everyone pitched in to help, cleaning the fish they had caught before handing them to Taiyi for grilling, chatting and laughing all the while.
