"I've told you before, we need those monsters to eliminate the humans on Earth," Zelly replied firmly, though a hint of reservation lingered in her tone.
"Don't deceive us! With our power, we could achieve the same. It's because you're holding us back!" he roared in anger.
"How can humans even be compared to us? We are the most superior beings in the universe," he added, casting his gaze upon the other elders, attempting to sway them by appealing to their ego.
I couldn't help but stifle a laugh. How could someone claim the title of the most superior being in the universe in my presence?
While I dared not assert myself as the most superior being because of my humble nature, I settled for being the most powerful, handsome, intelligent, unrivaled, and benevolent being in the universe.
I realized that those titles might have seemed a bit modest to describe me, but as I mentioned, I preferred to maintain a humble demeanor unlike others.
"You don't know what you're talking about, Zod. The humans on Earth have grown far more powerful than before. If we rely solely on our limited numbers, we will just face extinction," Zelly retorted.
"How could you utter such embarrassing words? Are you suggesting that we can't even handle mere humans?" he protested, and the elders backing him all wore disappointed expressions after hearing Zelly's words.
I couldn't blame them for holding onto the belief that the Zol Clan still reigned supreme, given their confinement. But the reality was far different.
Power, technology, numbers, and unity—the humans had surpassed the Zol Clan in every aspect.
Especially after the appearance of those Alien Monsters, humans now had a common goal, which unified their efforts.
"Humans are now far stronger than us, and you all need to accept it!" Zelly sighed, finding it really difficult to reason with these impulsive buffoons.
"This is all your fault! You should provide us with a way to get out of this place!" Zod bellowed.
"I know you don't like me since I assumed this position, but mind your words. I'm still the clan leader!" Zelly warned, her eyes narrowing as the aura around her began to envelop her body.
She disliked his manner of speaking.
'I smell a civil war brewing here,' I chuckled to myself. It would be dull to just massacre everyone, but a civil war?
"I was looking for my wife," I replied honestly.
However, it was a bad decision, as she instantly averted her gaze in frustration.
"So you're looking for new girl again to play around ?," she mumbled.
'What other girls? I said I'm looking for my wife, like the literal one, the legal one with all the marriage certificates and stuff,' I thought to myself, realizing that Shao Mi had completely misunderstood me.
In fact, Zayen should be the one frustrated right now, because if we're talking about it in human terms, my "side chick" would be Shao Mi, and not other way around.
If she really gets angry, it'll be like one of those TV dramas where the side chick acts more entitled than the legal wife—except in this case, I'm the one stuck in the middle.

"Why would I be jealous ? ," she replied , though I could sense her frustration.
It was evident that she lacked experience in love or any form of relationship, so this might be the first time she was experiencing these types of emotions.
Honestly, I feel like I'm with someone who was ignorant about the world despite having so much power.
Like those daughters of ultra-rich families who have never needed to ride public transportation or even knew it existed.
