Chapter 463 Return to the Nightsisters

Chapter 463 Return to the Nightsisters

The two returned to the village, where everyone came to greet them, with Matron Talzin leading the way, a proud smile on her face.

"Welcome, sister, as a true Nightsister. Asajj Ventress," she announced in a dramatic tone.

Ventres made no snide remarks or comments, only a proud smile in response. Matron Talzin placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and led her toward the rest of the small room.

"What have you brought, sister?" Madam Talzin asked, holding out her hands.

After handing over the fragment of the aquatic creature, Asajj waited for the witch leader to complete the rest of the ritual.

Before leaving, Talzin turned to Wanda and asked, "I hope this trip will be enlightening to you."

“To some extent,” Wanda replied simply.

Then, Asajj's baptism ceremony began.

They gathered at the village's pool, surrounded by a group of members, with others watching from various corners. Wanda stood beside Asajj with her two young assistants. At the other end of the pool, Mother Talzin stood with some Nightsister mystics.

Asajj stepped into the water, stepped forward, and finally faced the Mother.

"Please kneel down," Talzin said calmly. After seeing Ventres kneel down obediently, the leader of the Nightsisters continued to ask: "Are you willing to swear to sisterhood, magic, and the old ways?"

Asajj answered without hesitation: "I do."

"Are you willing to give up your old life and embrace a new one?"

"I do." Asajj answered firmly.

"Your loyalty, your life, will be dedicated to your people," Talzin continued.

Asajj answered without hesitation, “Yes.”

After returning from this time, Asajj began to reflect deeply on many things in her life. She quickly learned many details and discussed them. These may conflict with the goals she pursued, or they may not change or be abandoned. She still wanted revenge on Sidious and still wanted the power she sought. She hoped to one day become a Sith Lord like many before her.

However, no one could know for sure what would happen after today's baptism and the future. At this moment, Mother Talzin summoned a swirling green mist. They chanted an inaudible spell, which became more and more intense as time passed. Mother Talzin knelt down and handed her a cup filled with a glowing green liquid. This liquid was carefully made from a series of ingredients, the most important of which was made from the ingredients Asajj had brought back earlier.

After handing over the potion, Asajj drank it without hesitation. After the cup was empty, it was handed back and the tribal leader then slowly leaned Asajj into the pool. After being submerged, Asajj began to feel the wonderful changes taking place within his body.

A moment later, swirling mist seeped into the water, trapping the Dark Jedi and lifting her into the air. An ethereal energy began to slowly seep into her body. Her eyes widened and she tumbled backwards, screaming silently for what seemed like an eternity. When the last of the figure disappeared from sight, Ventress was gently lowered back to her feet.

Her eyeballs rolled down, and her originally ice-blue eyes became sharper and more domineering. After this series of changes, her owner felt refreshed.

“You are now a reborn being, a Nightsister,” Talzin said excitedly, “Welcome back.”

Asajj nodded slightly in respect, "Thank you."

The clan leader looked around and gave a speech to the clan members, "We will hold a feast tonight to celebrate the baptism of our new sister." As soon as he finished speaking, warm cheers rang out all around.

One by one, the clan members approached Asajj and offered her their "congratulations." As the crowd gradually dispersed, the last to greet her were Merlin, Illyana, and their guardians.

"Congratulations, Asajj," Illyana said, and then gave her a hug. Ventres was a little unaccustomed to such gestures, but still responded in a slightly awkward way.

Merlin just nodded to Asajj, who had just been baptized. Wanda looked at her indifferently and nodded silently. Asajj didn't say much, but just accepted her nod, because she didn't want to conflict with her at this time.

Ventres hoped to be able to immerse herself in this joy and tranquility for a while. She knew that all this was so short in her life. Before they left, Wanda said something to her.

"From what I know about your mother, she will be both happy and sad about your baptism."

"why?"

"She's happy for you to go through this, but sad that she can't be there to witness it in person."

Hearing this, Asajj's ice-blue eyes lowered, revealing deep emotion.

After everything they had been through, Asajj stood before the two Sith souls, fists clenched, head bowed, while Wanda stood nearby, arms crossed, expressionless.

"Tell us," Traya said calmly, "Have you made up your mind?"

Ventres nodded slightly, with obvious hesitation on his face.

"What should we do next?" she asked in a trembling voice.

"Sit down first," Traya instructed, "then focus on the force around you and perform your second baptism."

Asajj sat down and quickly entered a meditative state, waiting for further instructions.

"Open yourself to the Force," Traya continued, "and don't resist what's going to happen."

"Now, let the Force flow out of you," Traya instructed. "Empty yourself. Don't let the Force control your actions anymore. Take control of yourself."

Asajj felt a force being driven out of him, a feeling both strange and unsettling.

Darth Kreia (Traya) felt these emotions but didn't take them too seriously. She turned to Wanda and another companion and said, "Now, Satsuzo and Wanda, please help me finish what we discussed before."

Wanda was somewhat conflicted about the mission she was about to undertake. Scarlet Witch's eyes began to glow, and she reached out to touch the holotragon and Asajj. The Sith's devices began to glow brightly as the souls began to feel the essence of the power flowing through them. In just a few minutes, the three people surrounding Asajj infused her with their power. Wanda responded with scarlet psionic energy... and enhanced Force lightning, fueled by the souls of the Sith.

The experience had a profound impact on Asajj Ventres, leaving her with no power to resist the pain.

The radiant form surrounding the Dark Jedi did not bring her an enhancement, but instead triggered other changes.

Asajj gasped, her breath heavy, and her hands unconsciously reached for her throat, as if to strangle the pain there. Ventres's figure flashed before her eyes again, along with everything she had experienced.

The turmoil, the struggle, her pain and loss…but then, everything changed.

She felt herself transformed into a being of pure energy, soaring through the boundless universe. In an instant, the world and other galaxies flew before her eyes.

This was something she had never experienced before. Asajj let out a choked gasp, her eyes trembling, until darkness gradually enveloped her vision. Then, small points of light dotted the darkness, followed by whirlpools and other cosmic objects.

As Wanda gazed into Asajj's eyes, the white and clear icy blue she usually saw was replaced by a deep black in which seemed to be countless stars twinkling.

It was like she was looking at the night sky.

"I see," Asajj whispered devoutly, tears falling from her eyes. "Through the Force, I see eternity! The Force, life, death, destruction and rebirth. We are all connected. We do not exist in the universe, but the universe itself! It...it is very beautiful."

Wanda could only open her eyes wide and watch in amazement as Asajj went through such a baptism.

The amazing thing is that her thoughts cannot be sensed or interpreted, only her pure wonder and shock comes through.

This adventure brought about a huge transformation for many people on Dathomir.

Many people looked around, some staring in the direction where the change came from. It was not just the Nightsisters who felt the change.

Elsewhere in the galaxy...
