Chapter 504 People in love don’t know it
Black Panther, Vision, and Obi-Wan ran in the direction where Thor and the Son were fighting, leaving Ahsoka, Spider-Man, father, and daughter behind.
"Okay, now let's start the engine and see how it performs." Ahsoka Tano and Spider-Man smiled at each other, with sparks of victory flashing in their eyes.
The daughter standing outside the spacecraft just smiled when she heard that they succeeded, but her expression became serious when she turned her eyes to the distance. Her eyes fell on the swirling dark clouds, thunder rumbled, and lightning flashed.
She can feel her brother's power growing, and this new god of thunder seems just as powerful. But who is superior, and only time will tell if this new god of thunder can hold the Son back long enough for the others to leave the planet.
Meanwhile, the two teenagers on board performed a final check to make sure everything was working properly.
"While some of the ship's functions are a little shaky, the engines, life support systems, and communications appear to be functioning normally," Ahsoka touched the controls gently.
"Something is better than nothing." Spider-Man observed. "We can try flying it again."
Ahsoka nodded slightly, her hand unconsciously moving to her head as she glanced at Spider-Man beside her.
Spider-Man noticed her abnormality and immediately walked over to her, asking with concern, "Are you okay?"
"It's just a little...headache." She rubbed her head and said softly.
"Has it been a while?" Spider-Man asked in surprise. "Why didn't you say so earlier?"
"I just don't want to worry everyone. We have more pressing matters at hand," Ahsoka whispered.
"Yes, but nothing else matters when it comes to your health," Spider-Man said firmly.
Ahsoka gently stopped what she was doing, and her eyes slowly turned to Spider-Man.
he asked, startled by her rather intense glare.
"What's wrong with me?" She whispered to herself, her voice so soft that it was almost inaudible.
"Ahsoka..."
Suddenly, Ahsoka turned around and looked Spider-Man straight in the eye. "What did I do to you?"
Spider-Man didn't know how to answer that question.
"What did I do to you?" Ahsoka repeated, staring into Spider-Man's eyes, a hand on one side of her temple. "Headaches... every time I have a headache, you're always in my mind. You keep retreating... like you're afraid of me. There's a wall behind you, and-"
Spider-Man coughed, his face turned red, and he felt his heart pounding. He didn't dare to look Ahsoka in the eye, so he could only look for other things to distract himself.
However, Ahsoka's emotions began to get out of control and she fell to her knees and began to cry, curling up into a ball.
Spider-Man saw this and didn't care about being nervous. He immediately leaned over, hugged Ahsoka, and said with concern: "Hey, don't be like this, Ahsoka. Relax and don't let yourself get too nervous."
"Is she okay?" the daughter asked, looking at them with concern at the entrance of the spacecraft.
Spider-Man didn't answer his daughter's question, his eyes still lingering on Ahsoka's painful expression. He looked into Ahsoka's eyes and saw the struggle and conflict in her heart. She tried to control everything, but was swayed by fear and desire.
"Ahsoka..."
"Oh, no," the daughter said suddenly, "it seems that my brother's influence on her has not completely disappeared."
"What?" Spider-Man exclaimed, "What does this mean?"
The daughter shook her head and gestured downward with her hand to calm Spider-Man down, "It's okay, I guess you have a headache?"
Ahsoka nodded hesitantly, her brow furrowing involuntarily as she felt the spike piercing her consciousness once again.
"This is just the residual effect of my brother's control over you," she explained. "It's just a temporary memory loss. However, these memories will naturally return to your mind later, but they will be accompanied by headaches for a while."
The daughter slowly raised her hands, and they seemed to hold the same light that had saved Ahsoka.
"I can help you remove this obstacle and restore your memory intact."
"But..." Ahsoka hesitated.
"Will this be painful?" Ahsoka whispered.
"It definitely won't be easy." Spider-Man said worriedly, obviously he didn't want her to go through any more pain.
"Come on," Ahsoka said firmly, her teeth clenched. "Trust me, Peter, I can handle it."
Spider-Man looked up and saw his daughter looking for his opinion, so he nodded reluctantly. He held Ahsoka's hand and comforted her.
His daughter gently patted Ahsoka on the forehead, and he saw that Ahsoka's eyes were rolled up, her breathing was heavy, and she looked very painful.
Soon her cheeks regained their healthy color, steam rose from her body, and she tried to speak, but no sound came out.
Spider-Man now hesitated because he knew that -
"You remember everything?"
Ahsoka blushed and lowered her head.
She let go of Spider-Man's hand and began to back away. Her face was filled with shame as she could no longer pretend nothing had happened. She felt her entire body burning with embarrassment. "How could I do this to you? What kind of Jedi am I?"
"Honestly, you couldn't help yourself—"
"But that's me too, Peter," she interrupted Spider-Man.
Then Ahsoka's face grew darker, like a sky covered with dark clouds.
"Oh my God, I'm so mean," she whispered, her voice full of self-blame and regret.
"Well, maybe it's not that bad," Spider-Man said, trying to lighten the mood, but he couldn't help but let a smile creep into his lips.
However, Ahsoka was not appeased by his words, "This is no joke, Peter. The Jedi Code, the Order... I have betrayed all my beliefs and oaths."
At this moment, a gentle voice broke the silence, "It's okay, young man." The daughter reached out and gently placed her hand on Ahsoka's shoulder. "Love is a wonderful power. You have found someone worthy of love."
Ahsoka and Spider-Man looked at each other in bewilderment at their daughter's words, and then they turned their faces to the side at the same time, wishing they could hide.
The daughter was confused by their reaction. To be honest, such a dramatic scene had not appeared in her life for a long time.
Just as her daughter was about to speak, there was a sudden commotion in the Force. The feeling was so strong that Spider-Man and Ahsoka came back to their senses from their embarrassment. The three of them turned in the direction of the monastery at the same time.
"What's going on?" Spider-Man asked nervously.
The daughter closed her eyes and felt the movements around her through the Force, her body trembling slightly with tension.
"It's Thor and my brother. Their fight is escalating." The daughter's voice revealed shock and disbelief. "This... How is this possible?"
"What? What happened?" Ahsoka asked.
Their daughter's tone and expression made them feel a little panic.
"We must get there right away!" The daughter's voice became firm, adding a hint of terror.
This sudden change caught the two teenagers off guard. Their hearts beat like drums, but they soon found seats on the spaceship and started the engine. The ship bumped on the ground, and finally took off and flew at full speed towards the monastery.
