Chapter 466 The joy of reunion

Wanda could only smile through her tears, wrapping her arms tightly around Quicksilver's waist. "I'm sorry for making you so worried." The young twin then laughed happily, wiping away the happy tears from her eyes, "I know how worried you were."

"I have a lot to say to you as well." Quicksilver's voice revealed a flicker of hope and a slight nasal tone. "We are like two peas in a pod, and we will go to the end together."

"Always," Wanda whispered, wiping tears from her eyes.

The twins turned their attention to the Nightsister and the three other men, one of whom Wanda recognized, who were staring at the two of them expectantly.

"Look, Pietro, you finally found your lost sister." said one of the young men in robes.

The bearded man smiled slightly, his eyes revealing deep thought. "It's finally time. Captain Rogers and the others will be very happy to have you back."

Wanda looked at them one by one, her eyes darting quickly over each face. She recognized the two robed Jedi Knights—Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker—as frequent foes for whom Asajj had deep, mixed feelings.

As for the remaining one... She needed some time to remember him. He seemed familiar, but his name did not immediately come to her mind.

Quicksilver keenly caught her doubts and curiosity, and immediately took the initiative to introduce herself.

"Wanda, these are some of my friends. This is Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Matt Murdock," Quicksilver introduced, "Matt, this is one of Earth's newest Avengers!"

Although Wanda had witnessed the heroic deeds of the Avengers many times from Asajj Ventress's memories, she had almost no experience fighting alongside them since arriving in the galaxy. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Ms. Maximoff." Kenobi responded with a warm smile. "Your brother and friends have mentioned you many times. They have nothing but praise for you."

Anakin expressed his joy in a more direct way, "Your brother has been looking for you, Wanda. But now we can finally be reunited."

"Have we found the rest of our team?" Wanda asked.

"Vision just recently reunited with us, and you are the last one," Quicksilver told her.

Daredevil walked up to her and shook her hand. "The team is finally complete, Ms. Maximoff. I want to thank you. It's you who prevented the end of Sokovia."

Wanda responded with a slightly confused smile, "You're welcome. I'm glad to know there are heroes like you on Earth."

"We are just following your example."

The rest of the Nightsisters were forgotten, staring at each other until one of them simply motioned for them to leave the group.

Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Daredevil noticed this but said nothing as Quicksilver and Wanda were engaged in a lively conversation, the joy of reunion palpable in the air.

Amidst the laughter, Wanda's sweet smile suddenly turned a little sour. Then, she gently patted her brother's head.

"Hey, what are you doing?" He stepped back.

"Wanda, stop it!"

"Not until you apologize!" she insisted.

For what? he asked doubtfully.

You're in trouble as soon as you get here! she scolded.

"But they were the ones who pointed weapons at us first!" Quicksilver argued.

"You came in unannounced and made us very nervous. What are you apologizing for?" she asked.

"Hey, I don't know, and--don't pull my ears! I've had enough of this treatment." Quicksilver tried to break free from her control and reached out to touch her head.

"Wow - what were you doing just now? Why were you pulling my hair?!" she asked dissatisfiedly.

The twins' interaction instantly turned into a small "battle", with hair pulling, forehead slapping, cheek pinching, and their clothes becoming messy in the play. Both of them tried to trip each other with their own strength.

"It sounds ordinary, but it's something special to see it in person," Anakin commented with a smile.

"Should we intervene?" Kenobi asked with a smile.

For them, this mixture of bickering and playfulness, although it may seem a little strange to outsiders, is their way of expressing the deep affection between siblings.

"Let them sort it out," Daredevil suggested calmly.

Suddenly, the blind lawyer listened slightly and seemed to hear two sets of footsteps approaching them. The two Jedi Knights noticed this subtle change and turned their eyes to a pair of little night sisters about nine or ten years old, who were walking towards Wanda and Quicksilver who were still arguing childishly.

"Who do you think they are?" Skywalker asked curiously.

"Let's wait and see," Kenobi suggested, and the three of them watched the scene unfold in silence.

Wanda suddenly pinched Quicksilver's nose and gently rubbed the side of his head with her knuckles, while Quicksilver, not to be outdone, pinched her cheeks and tried to pull away. However, neither of them noticed that the two little night sisters were looking up at them curiously.

"Wanda!" one of the Little Nightsisters shouted.

Hearing this voice, the two twins stopped their fight. In front of them, two little men with bright eyes were staring at them.

"Oh! Girls, I'm so sorry that I made you follow me so far." Wanda pinched her cheeks and said with a smile.

She gently shook off her brother's hand and walked towards them, placing her hands gently on their backs and giving them a slight push.

"Come on, two of you. I want to take you to see someone."

Quicksilver looked back and forth between the two young Nightsisters and Wanda, his eyes full of confusion.

"Wait...you...did you adopt them?" Quicksilver asked in disbelief.

Wanda replied in a soft tone: It's not a formal adoption, but I am their guardian.

Quicksilver crossed his arms jokingly, "So while we're out saving the galaxy, you become a mother."

What...what does this mean?

Quicksilver rolled his eyes, "Mara belongs to Natasha, but Grogu is truly the collective treasure of the Avengers."

Collective treasure? Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Wanda looked at each other, clearly confused by this new term.

Scarlet Witch looked at her brother, with some confusion in her eyes, "What have you been busy with recently? Why are you here?"

Obi-Wan's expression grew serious, "We have learned of a Dathomir male, a Nightbrother, who has been killing Jedi Knights indiscriminately throughout the galaxy. We suspect he is from this planet, so we came here to look for clues about him."

Wanda frowned at this.

"This is the first time I've heard of this," Wanda whispered. "But in any case, you should talk to Matron Talzin or any clan leader. Any of them can give you better clues than I can."

Anakin bowed his head slightly, "Thank you for your advice, Wanda. Quicksilver, you stay here and catch up with your sister. We will go talk to Matron Talzin."

So they nodded and went their separate ways.

The two Jedi Knights walked side by side with a blind lawyer, surrounded by other local residents. They walked inside together, and Wanda shouted to them: "It's in the center of the village. You can wait safely. She will come to meet you in person."

When the Jedi and Daredevil went to see Matron Talzin, Wanda decided to introduce the two little girls to her brother: "Pietro, this is Merlin and Illyana. Girls, this is my childish brother, Pietro."

Quicksilver smiled briefly, then disappeared in a blur, and when he reappeared, a knife was spinning on his fingertips.

This scene amazed Merlin and Elena. They exclaimed in unison: "Wow~~"

Wanda commented, "That's his childishness. He loves to show off."

Quicksilver, in turn, scoffed in good-natured way, responding, "It's as if you weren't using your powers to entertain them."

Elena happily agreed: "She can really do it." In her words, Wanda didn't even have a chance to refute such "accusations."
