Chapter 497 Thor's Speculation
Chapter 497 Thor's Speculation
Soon, they arrived near the damaged spaceship.
"I'm afraid this will take some time," Anakin sighed, looking up at the crumbling ship, his eyes filled with worry.
Obi-Wan was more decisive. "There's nothing we can't fix. At the very least, we should be able to restore the main functions of this ship. Don't waste time. We have to act quickly."
Ahsoka suddenly thought of something and asked nervously, "What about the Son? Where is he?"
Anakin replied confidently: "I am sure that our new friend here is capable enough to stop him. Look how powerful Thor is. I believe he can do it." As he said this, he patted Thor's shoulder in appreciation.
Thor nodded silently, a smug smile on his face that matched the Jedi's smile. He then turned his attention to the rest of the team.
"Now, I think we can start discussing our next plan." He said directly, and as soon as he said this, Black Panther and Spider-Man said "hmm" in tacit understanding.
Spider-Man then turned to Thor excitedly: "So, Mr. Thor, how did you get here? This question needs to be answered now." As he spoke, he picked up the tools handed to him by Ahsoka and prepared to start assisting in the repair work.
Thor pondered for a moment before answering, "As for how I returned to Earth before the Chitauri army invaded, this may require a detailed explanation. I remember that after the collapse of SHIELD, since the original path was destroyed, I used another method to come back - using the power of ice."
Black Panther and Spider-Man looked at each other and shrugged, while Vision crossed his arms and fell into deep thought. "I remember this was mentioned in the mission document." Vision said thoughtfully, "You used the power of frost, right?"
Thor nodded, "Yes. The situation was dire and my father used his own powers and the dark magic of our people to transport me to Earth when Loki reappeared."
Black Panther thought for a moment and said, "So you're going to do the same thing again this time?"
Thor took a deep breath and nodded: "Yes, I must use this method again." "It's a little bit different from last time." Thor tilted his head slightly and said in a slightly contemplative manner, his eyes cast into the deep and boundless night sky.
He explained: "This place, this realm, has a unique quality. It is rare and special. It is both a palace and a cage of power, like a powerful connection point in the universe. I was able to get here thanks to the power of Bifrost, the vision of Heimdall, and the assistance of many dark magics. This planet is a powerful bond."
"So, is it because of the existence of those three celestial beings?" Ahsoka jumped out of the floor cabin, walked to the lower part of the ship, and asked curiously.
Thor frowned and answered thoughtfully, "This and Mortis itself... well, it's hard to put into words. This is the only visible point in the entire galaxy that Heimdall can clearly see."
Obi-Wan asked with great interest: "What does this mean?"
"Imagine being able to leave the galaxy and witness other forms of life, culture, and civilization - the existence of the Avengers is proof of that," Thor said slowly.
"Is the Earth in this galaxy?" This has always been Spider-Man's puzzlement, and it is also the confusion of the Avengers and many Jedi Knights. "
He shook his head. "Of course not. If that were the case, Heimdall would have told me and I would have been able to bring you all back. No, this system is far away beyond imagination."
"How far is that?" Anakin demanded.
Thor shrugged and answered in a lighthearted yet serious manner, "Millions and billions of light years. We're talking numbers with lots of zeros following them."
Anakin retorted, "But you still came. From what you said it wasn't easy."
Thor nodded in agreement, "Yes, but it is due to a complex set of reasons. This galaxy is unique and isolated. From what Heimdall could discern, it was intentionally cut off from the rest of the universe."
Everyone present was even more confused. They looked at each other and asked, "What does this mean?"
Thor took a deep breath and explained, "In this part of the galaxy, there is a series of black holes and a strange barrier... They are mixed together, making it extremely difficult to enter and exit. I don't know why this happened to me, it's quite unusual."
Anakin crossed his arms, hummed, and said, "I have a feeling that if we delve into this issue, we might be stuck here for a while."
Black Panther said, "I don't think we'll be able to go anywhere until we find new transportation."
Thor frowned and said, "I can try to contact Heimdall and see if he can take us out of here. However, he used dark magic before and should still be resting now. If we were to use the portal, it might attract unnecessary attention and possibly draw the attention of Asgard."
Black Panther nodded in agreement, "Let's stay alert for now. I think the Son is waiting for the right moment to strike again."
Meanwhile, two teenagers working on the boat are trying to find a way to fix it.
Suddenly, there was a rumble of thunder and heavy rain came down, but it stopped after a while.
"Wow," Ahsoka whispered.
Spider-Man turned around and asked, "What's wrong? Are you surprised by the change in weather?"
Ahsoka shook her head. "It's not the weather. It's the feeling of change. It's like nature is sending us some kind of signal. I feel some kind of power flowing through it."
Spider-Man nodded, "Yes, we have the power of Thor and Storm with us now. He can disperse the clouds or bring thunder and lightning whenever he wants."
"Don't say that," Ahsoka muttered, "It's a little strange to see him after hearing you and the others talk about him for so long. I'm still trying to accept that he's a god."
"Welcome to our world." Spider-Man smiled easily, "You may have seen some crazy things, but on Earth, incredible things are the norm. And from what my intuition tells me, the future will only get more bizarre."
Ahsoka smiled at him, then looked down at the black suit he was wearing, "Speaking of which, I've always been curious, what's with this new suit?"
Spider-Man patted his chest and smiled confidently, "Oh, this one? This is a new suit I bought." But his smile quickly turned a little unsure, "Actually... I prepared it for a special occasion."
Although a little unsure, Spider-Man's answer made Ahsoka laugh. The conversation and laughter between them temporarily eased the tense atmosphere.
Then, Spider-Man said seriously, slightly confused: "Actually, I knew nothing about it. I stumbled upon it in the Pagoda of the Son while looking for you."
"Does that area belong to the Son's territory?" Ahsoka seemed a little nervous, "Wait, I mean, if it is influenced by the dark side, will there be anything that can harm you?
"I have considered this question. Have you forgotten? I do not have the same Force sense as you. Moreover, you see the white spider symbol on my chest. My intuition does not warn me. I think this slime, or what it represents, was captured by the Son."
"And you are its salvation." Ahsoka whispered to herself.
She felt conflicted at the moment. The way the Son treated them was clearly not a friend, and since his turn to the dark side, his influence seemed stronger than ever. So, the creature in Spider-Man, whatever it was, was most likely held captive by the Son for his twisted entertainment."
But then again…
"Something doesn't seem right to me." Ahsoka frowned and turned to Spider-Man, "I've always had a feeling... I don't know..."
"My daughter said that she gave you a portion of her power to cleanse you of her brother's influence. Perhaps this is a residual effect."
"Maybe… How did all this happen? I feel like I've forgotten a lot of things." Ahsoka said a little confused.
Spider-Man was silent for a moment, until he sighed. "Ahsoka," he said seriously, "can you focus?"
"Of course, Peter," she replied, and seeing how serious Spider-Man looked, she began to get worried as well.
"I wonder..." Spider-Man paused, "Do you remember anything special happening when you were under the control of the Son? Any feelings, anything special?"
Ahsoka frowned, searching deep within her mind for clues. "I... this is really hard to describe in words."
"Do you have any special feelings?" Spider-Man asked.
Ahsoka thought for a moment. "Yes," she said slowly. "Pain and fear."
It felt so real, like it had just happened. Ahsoka was confused by a deep desire to be dominated. For some reason, she found herself dominating others, which made her feel a little uneasy. And she seemed to be stuck in a thought that she couldn't extricate herself from.
At this moment, her cheeks began to turn slightly red, as if she was enveloped by an invisible heat wave. She felt her heartbeat speed up and her breathing became rapid.
"Peter, what do you think that is?" she asked, trying to change the subject.
Spider-Man turned his head, a look of surprise in his eyes. "Are you okay? You don't look right."
Ahsoka took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. "I'm... I'm trying to get my thoughts together. There's something confusing me."
Spider-Man wanted to ask what was bothering her, but he was also confused. He wasn't sure if he could help her solve the problem. Ahsoka seemed to be equally confused, but she was still trying to make sense of it.
Maybe this is the complexity of life.
Or maybe it's not just that.
Spider-Man thought to himself, patting his forehead lightly with his hand, feeling a helpless smile. "Uncle Ben and Aunt May are right, love is always complicated."
As the two continued to search the ship for clues and try to piece together the truth of what happened, Anakin paced outside the ship, his moods rising and falling as they progressed.
